Some patchy cloud, a veil of high cloud for periods, but also sunny spells. Northwest Scotland holds onto cloud near to coasts and an odd light shower. West to southwesterly breezes in northern areas, tending to lessen. Light winds for central and southern areas. Coastal sea breezes. Highs 24 to 28C central-southeast areas, 17 to 20C north and west.
