Mon Apr 27: Monday Scattered showers this morning over northern Scotland, and as the morning progresses a few more showers could develop over northeast England. Always more cloud affecting the east of England and Scotland too. For the rest of England and Wales as well as western Scotland it should be a fair start with good spells of sunshine. Little changes into the afternoon with most of the cloud and a few showers, in the north and east. The best sunshine west and south. Feeling warm at 21C in the sunshine in southern England, widely 17 to 20C, but cooler northern and eastern coasts at 14C.
