Western showers tonight

Tue Jun 09: Wednesday A fair start to the morning for many with broken clouds and some sunny spells. There will be showers affecting western coasts and hills. During the morning, the showers will tend to spread inland, although there will still be some areas that see sunny spells such as central and southern England and eastern Scotland. This afternoon is then showery for much of England, Wales and Scotland, as well as parts of Northern Ireland. The showers tending to fight from the west as the afternoon progresses. Turning dry in Ireland and Southwest England with clouds increasing here and the chance of some drizzle on coasts later. Highs at a rather cool 14 to 18C.
