Wed Jul 15: Thursday Eastern parts of England and Scotland will begin the day under areas of low cloud, with patches of coastal mist and fog. This will gradually clear through the morning, leaving a largely sunny afternoon. Further west, sunshine will be widespread from the start. Highs of 22 to 24C across northern areas, rising to 27 to 29C across England and Wales. It will remain noticeably cooler along eastern coasts.
