Sun Jul 05: Monday A windy Monday morning across Scotland, with lots of cloud as fronts extend from west to east over northern areas. Most of the rain affecting western coasts and hills, but patchy rain elsewhere. Outbreaks of rain, too in Northern Ireland and the far north of England. Dry for the rest of England and Wales, as well as southern Ireland with sunny spells coming through. The afternoon sees little change with some more outbreaks of rain in Scotland, but drier further south and very warm again, mostly sunny in south and east England. Highs at a hot 32C in southeast England, 24C in southern Ireland, 18 to 20C in northwest England and Scotland, to 14C in far northwest Scotland.
