of high pressure building in the south. This morning sees plenty of
cloud across much of Scotland, northern England, Northern Ireland
and parts of Wales. Drizzle in western Scotland. Plenty of sunshine
in central and southern England and quickly feeling hot here. This
afternoon brings sunny spells and dry conditions to Ireland, Wales
and England. Always more cloud for northwest England and Scotland
with drizzle over wester Scotland. Rain may affect Orkney and Shetland.
Highs at 33C in southeast England, 24 to 29C for many areas but 14C
in northern Scotland and 26C in southern Ireland.
