Wed Jul 01: Thursday A fair and breezy start to Thursday with a risk of some gales across northern England and Scotland. One or two showers affecting northern and western coast of Scotland too. Elsewhere it will be dry with spells of sunshine. This afternoon sees the wind is decreasing and most areas having a very pleasant afternoon with good spells of sunshine. It is going to be mostly dry, although there is always a risk of a shower in northern Scotland. Highs at 28C in southeast England, 15C in northern Scotland, 22C in southern Ireland.
