Mon Jun 22: Monday A very warm day, hot in the south, also very humid. Sunshine and high-level cloud, which may cover the sky more widely over north and western areas, obscuring the sun for periods. A risk of isolated thundery bursts of rain forming in west and southwest areas, then mainly later in the day across Wales and northern England, but many places miss these. Some patchy rain or drizzle near west coasts of Scotland and Ireland. Light southeasterly breezes, locally gustier along southern coasts. Temperatures rising to 32C in southern England, 26 to 29C for the Midlands and Wales. 21 to 24C for northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
