and increasingly hot day across England and Wales with prolonged spells
of sunshine. Temperatures will rise sharply, becoming locally very
hot in the south and east. Ireland will remain very warm but generally
cloudier, with scattered showers developing, particularly across northern
and western areas. Scotland will also see a mix of sunshine and showers,
although southern districts will remain very warm while fresher conditions
persist further north. Highs reaching 32 to 34C across parts of England,
28C in Wales, and 25 to 26C across Ireland and southern Scotland.
