over western areas of the British Isles. Western parts of Ireland
and Scotland will see more cloud, some local drizzly areas near the
hills. Remaining hot throughout the afternoon with lengthy periods
of sunshine for all except the far northwest of Scotland. Highs at
34C in southeast England, 24C in eastern Scotland and Ireland, 18C
in northwest Scotland.
