Thu May 07: Thursday Broken cloud through the morning with he best of any sunny spells in the south of England and Wales as well as much of Ireland. More cloud in northern England and Scotland. Mostly dry, but just a few spots of showery rain over western coasts and hills. This afternoon sees further showers developing through Wales and northern England as well as central Scotland. Scattered showers in East Anglia too. Cloud and rain in the far west of Scotland. Tops at 12 to 16C.
