Ireland, this rain heavy on western coasts, perhaps at times torrential
in hilly areas of northern Wales and northwest England. Strong southwesterly
winds persist across England and Wales too. Generally drier Scotland
and north Ireland though rain and drizzle will affect the west coast,
remaining cloudy to the east; lighter wind here too. Highs at 7C north,
up to 14C southwest.
