as southern Scotland; the rain likely quite heavy in northwest England.
The front producing this rain will later pass eastward, drawing the
rain into Wales and central England, several hours of heavy falls
likely in northwest Wales. Southeast England likely stays dry most
of daylight but cloudy. Showers drifting into Scotland and Ireland
from the west, which will become lively later in the day, a risk of
some hail and wintry precipitation on upland terrain. Highs at 7C
in west Scotland to 16C southeast England.
