Thursday High pressure remains in control through Thursday. Cloud for much of northern and western Scotland. A weak front bringing some outbreaks of rain to Orkney and Shetland. A few showers too affecting southeastern coasts of England. Most areas will see cloud breaking and some bright spells developing. Western areas tending to see the best of any sunshine. Little change this afternoon with a few spots of rain in northern Scotland. Highs at 12 to 15C.
