Thursday An area of showery rain across Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia on Thursday morning. This area of rain moving into northern England in the afternoon, although it is only showery. Broken cloud and sunny spells as well as mostly dry conditions elsewhere, but some low cloud developing over western coasts and hills. Dry with decent spells of sunshine in Scotland. Later in the day, Ireland is cloudier with scattered drizzly showers. Highs at 28C in central and southern England, 22C in Scotland and Ireland.
