The best sunshine in the west, remaining throughout the day and feeling very warm. Cloud drifting into southern England and the chance of a shower over the hills of the southwest. Thicker cloud in the English Channel bringing some thundery rain to the Channel Islands. Highs at 32C in the south, 24C in Scotland, 27C in Ireland.
