Showery in western parts of Ireland and Scotland, some of these heavy and merging into broader areas of rain for periods. A mix of sun with outbreaks of rain in western England and Wales as well with a risk of a broader band of rain passing eastward around midday; southeast England sees only passing spells of rain with bright skies. Highs at 7C north to 11C south.
