Thursday Thursday sees the front continue to approach from the west bringing cloud and rain to western areas of Scotland, England and Wales at first, some steadier rain in the afternoon for western Scotland, northern England and Wales. Sunny spells developing across Ireland and Northern Ireland but also some blustery showers. Scotland will also see blustery heavy showers behind the rain. Staying dry but with cloudy skies across southeast England until evening when rain hits. Highs 16 to 22C, warmest east.
