Thursday Fronts will be passing east through the country on Thursday
morning. These bring a wet start to the day for much of the British
Isles. The rain will be heavy at times over western coast and hills,
especially in Wales and Ireland. Gales to across much of southern
Ireland, Wales and central and southern England. The rain quickly
clears eastwards through this afternoon, although may linger in East
Anglia and Southeast England until evening. Rather cloudy skies follow
with a few bright spells, but also a scattering of showers in the
west. Remaining breezy with a fresh to strong, westerly wind and a
further risk of gales affecting south-west and southern coasts. Highs
at 12 to 16C.
