Thursday Low pressure remains south of Ireland on Thursday. Fronts bringing rain across southern Ireland, southern Wales, southwest and the far south coasts of England. Heavy periods of rain across the south of Ireland. Rain and sleet in eastern Scotland, turning to snow over the hills. Drier and brighter in western Scotland. Cloudy and windy in other areas and mostly dry, although always a risk of drizzle in the east. Highs at 3 to 6C for all but the southern third of England and Wales where temperatres will be to 9C.
