Friday Low pressure over France on Friday. Cold air draining south through all parts of the country. An area of rain, sleet and some hills snow in Wales, central and southern England. Brighter and colder weather follows to the north bringing some snow showers in northern and eastern Scotland as well as northeast England. More sunshine as the colder weather arrives. Highs at 4C over much of the country, 9C in the far southwest of England.
