Tuesday A rather cloudy and breezy day with patchy light rain across southern Scotland into the far north and northeast of England. Brighter spells westwards, best in west Wales. Sunny spells and showers for Northern Ireland and Ireland enjoys more sunshine with well scattered brief afternoon showers possible. Fresh easterly winds, these particuarly felt along southern England coasts where it will feel cooler. Feeling cool also along eastern coasts of England and Scotland in that wind. Highs 10 to 14C, warmest in the sunnier west.
