Tuesday Frosts likely widespread Tuesday morning. Early rain and snow in western Scotland will spread inland - snow may be fairly widespread and heavy in upland areas. Cloud and showers increase along western coasts and patches of rain increasingly drifting inland, first in the north and then more often south. Precipitation will turn wintry in upland areas. West-northwesterly winds will dominate, strongest Ireland and then Scotland. Highs near 3C in the north and 7C in the south.
