Friday Starting fair on Friday morning, best of the sunshine in the east. Cloud rapidly increasing from the west though, with the winds increasing and rain already across Ireland and into western Scotland and west Wales by early morning. The cloudy, wind, rain and drizzle then spreading east across all areas during the morning, concentrated in Wales and England in the afternoon. Lots of low cloud over western and southern facing hills and coasts here. Tending to be turning cooler and more showery in Scotland and much of Ireland away from southern coasts. heavy showers in northern and western Scotland. Windy for all. Highs at 9C in southern Scotland, 12C in the far south of England by evening.
