Thursday High pressure centred over Scotland on Thursday. The remnants
of the front over southern Scotland and Ireland. Further cloud along
the front, a few spots of rain on hills. Hazier for England and Wales
in the easterly breeze. Dry with the cloud being broken and sunny
spells although always more cloud in the east. Broken cloud in most
of Scotland and the rest of Ireland away from the front. Highs at
8C over the cloudier coasts of eastern Scotland, 16C in central and
southern England and Wales as well as Ireland, the wind taking the
edge off the temperatures.
