A front bringing cloud and rain to much of Scotland, sleet and snow over the hills of central, northern and eastern Scotland, some wintry precipitation reaching low levels. Patchy rain and cloud in northern England with showers in southern England, southern Ireland and Wales. Dry for other areas with broken cloud. Highs at 3 to 4C Scotland, northern England as well, to 9C southern England.
