Wednesday Remaining rather cloudy for many on Wednesday. A band of
showery rain north to south across Scotland, the Irish Sea, and into
Wales and southwest England; heavy bursts here and there. Some showery
rain in the morning in northern England as well. Probably fewer showers
in Ireland and perhaps East Anglia and southeast England, these areas
seeing bursts of sunshine. A southwesterly breeze picks up in northwest
Scotland late in the day. Highs at 8C in northern Scotland to 15C
in southern England.
