A front gives cloud to northern England and north Wales with showery bursts of rain here. Generally drier in central and eastern areas of England. Showers in the far north of Scotland. Ireland will be breezy and dry with broken cloud. Highs at a cold 8 to 10C in northern areas, 20C in southern England.
