Wednesday Wednesday is cloudier for Scotland and northern England. Patchy rain more frequent in these areas, as well as in Ireland, but rainfall remains light with many areas staying dry. Showers forming in East Anglia in the afternoon, chance of a few local heavy bursts, which may drift into Kent as well. Southwest parts of England and Ireland stay dry with plenty of sunshine. Highs at 16C Scottish Highlands, 21C in central Scotland to 29C in southern England.
