Thursday High pressure centred toward the north is likely to expand back further over the country. Dry overall with the best of the sunshine all day in western areas, whilst central-eastern parts start cloudy - the cloud tending to thin back toward the North Sea coast during the day, here the cloud may persist. An easterly breeze prevails in the south, but less windy than previous days, lighter winds in the north. Warmest toward the west and northwest of hills, highs 11C east, to 17C west.
