Wednesday A small ridge of high pressure on Wednesday morning. There
will be cloud with sunny spells and also a notable westerly breeze.
Some outbreaks of showers in northern England and Scotland. A core
of low pressure will rapidly approach to the northeast of Ireland,
brining several hours of rain across Ireland, likely heavy for a time
in the north. This rain passes into Scotland and northern England
into afternoon, often heavy in western areas, and very strong wind
which may approach gale-force around west coasts. Staying dry Wales
and southern England and often sunny. Highs at 27C in southeast England,
16C in northern Scotland.
