Christmas Day High pressure remains on Christmas Day, centred northeast of Scotland. It will be feeling cold in the wind and for most places cloud will be broken. Sunny spells developing, and a morning frost for some. However, the wind too strong in England, Wales and Ireland to allow another other than a slight frost. Southern coasts of England may have a little more cloud and the chance of some rain in the Channel islands. Lighter winds in Scotland, a little more cloud here but dry with sunny spells, best in the west and south. Highs at 3 to 5C.
