Breezy Friday
Dry Saturday for many
Fri Sep 04: Friday A cold front brings an early band of rain passing southward
over southern England and Wales, accompanied by strong and gusty winds
at first in the south. Rain fading and clearing for a mostly dry day
with sunny breaks across England, Wales and Ireland. Showers will
feed into northwest England at times. Scotland will be wetter in the
west with frequent heavy showers, whilst east Scotland will see few
scattered showers and sun. Blustery for all, particularly Scotland
with gales in the far north along exposed coasts. Highs at 14 to 18C
in the north (mildest temperatures east), most of England around 18
to 20C, locally 23C far southeast.
