Thu Feb 19: Thursday Periods of sleety rain for parts of East Anglia and southern England, perhaps as far as the eastern Midlands on Thursday morning. Windy here too at first. The clearing eastwards by early afternoon. Then drier and brighter with some sunny spells in western areas. Tending to be staying rather cloudy in Scotland with some rain across west and north Ireland, this pushing into west Scotland with time. Best sunshine in the afternoon in the western Midlands, Wales and southwest England. Feeling cold for most at 3 to 5C, but milder in southwest England at 9C.
