Staying very windy, particularly in Scotland where gales into the west coast are likely. In Scotland, on the wind, a constant stream of showers will arrive from the west and edge east into central areas, showers affecting the west of Ireland as well. Scattered showers in the northwest of England and west Wales too. Away from these areas, the day will be mostly sunny and windy. Highs at 8C to 10C for most, locally to 12C in the far southeast.
