Fri May 22: Saturday High pressure brings a dry day to most of the British Isles today. There will be lots of sunshine for England and Wales. The risk of some low cloud drifting onto western coasts of England and Wales from time to time. Thicker cloud in northwest and western Scotland with outbreaks of rain and low cloud shrouding hills and coasts. Little changes this afternoon with hot temperatures in much of England and Wales, warm or very warm for most other areas. Highs at 30C in southeast England, widely 22 to 27C in England and Wales, 15C in northwest Scotland and 18C in Ireland.
