Snow for the weekend

Fri Feb 13: Saturday A cold but bright day for Scotland, England and Wales with plenty of crisp winter sunshine. Ireland begins dry, but cloud thickens by midday as rain and strengthening winds push in from the Atlantic. This will turn to wet snow in parts of central and northern areas, even to low levels. Highs of 6C in the south and 3C in the north. Patchy frost developing overnight in northern areas.
