Sat May 09: Sunday A fair amount of cloud through England and Wales this morning. The cloud will be broken with bright or sunny spells developing. Longer spells of sunshine in northern England and the north of Wales. Fair in Ireland and southern Scotland with sunshine here. More cloud in northwest Scotland and western Ireland. This afternoon sees rain spreading south into central and northern Scotland, some of it heavy. Scattered showers but mostly dry in Ireland. Sunny spells and broken cloud for England and Wales, most of the cloud in southern England. Highs at 12 to 15C but 9C in northern Scotland.
