Drier sunnier far east

Wed Apr 08: Thursday A band of rain spreads east across the British Isles, bringing a spell of generally light rain to most areas, though far southern England should remain largely dry. Behind this, plenty of showers develop across Ireland and western Scotland, some turning heavy and perhaps wintry over higher ground. Highs of 19C in the southeast but only around 8C in the northwest.
