Wed Jun 17: Wednesday Wednesday will start cloudy and damp across much of Scotland, parts of northern England and northwest Wales as rain moves east. Southern England, particularly the southeast, will see outbreaks of rain early on too, but this will clear to leave sunny spells. Most other areas will be dry with increasing sunshine. Through the day, rain will clear from most regions, although northern and central Scotland will continue to see outbreaks of rain. Elsewhere, it will be dry with sunny spells and feeling warm in the sunshine. Highs to 24C in eastern and southern England, 21C in eastern Scotland and Ireland but just 15C in northwest Scotland.
