Fri Apr 03: Saturday The day begins cloudy and wet across Ireland with outbreaks of rain, soon spreading into parts of Scotland. England and Wales will start largely dry, though cloud will steadily increase through the morning. During the afternoon the rain becomes heavier in the west and gradually pushes eastwards. Persistent rain is expected across the far north, with heavy snow possible over higher ground. Highs of 15C in the south but only around 6C in the north.
