Sat Apr 11: Sunday I mostly fair start to Sunday morning with some good spells of sunshine, especially across central and eastern areas of the country. A few showers affecting western coast in hills with gales over western parts of Scotland, which is where the heaviest of the showers will be. Are the showers in western Ireland, but try and brighter in the east at first. During the morning, the showers will be spreading eastwards through almost all areas and these will become heavy at times, especially over northern and western England and Wales, the Midlands and then southern England. Further heavy showers with gale force wins in much of central and western Scotland as well as Ireland. Highs at 9 to 14C.
