Mostly cloudy, periods of rain
Heavy showers Ireland
Tue Apr 14: Wednesday Plenty of cloud this morning across the British Isles. There
will be some outbreaks of drizzle here and there particularly have
a high ground. Some patchy rain affecting eastern Scotland and eastern
England. An area of more persistent rain over eastern Ireland, western
Scotland and moving into the west of Wales and Southwest England.
Already turning brighter in western Ireland. This afternoon sees that
more persistent rain pushing through Scotland, much of northern England,
Wales, and southern England too. Still some patchy rain in East Anglia
at first, then perhaps dry and brighter for a time in the eastern
Midlands and parts of Southeast England. Heavy showers developing
in the brighter skies over Ireland and western Scotland, some of these
becoming thundery. A breezy day with highs at 14 to 18C in the UK
and 13C in Ireland.
