A front is going to be bringing periods of showery rain through southern Ireland, southwest England and parts of southwest Wales, heavy bursts are probable. Other areas are going to be dry with plenty of sunshine, the best of this in the east. Tending to turn cloudier through the day in Wales and the far west of Scotland. Becoming windy across most areas, staying windiest with strong gusts in the southwest. Highs at 15C in southwest England and western Ireland, 18 to 20C in most other areas, but still cooler on eastern coasts.
