 Sun Sep 13: Monday High pressure nearby to the southeast, whilst low pressure and fronts move into the north and west. Much of south and eastern areas of England largely dry and bright, with the evening particularly clear of cloud. Rain extends across Ireland into western Britain, some persistent heavier falls developing over the hills. Rain spreads more widely across Ireland and northern Britain into afternoon, with patches affecting north Wales too. Strengthening southwesterly winds and feeling quite humid. Mild to warm, or very warm southeastern areas: highs at 17C west Scotland, to 20C east Scotland and across Ireland and Wales. England sees highs of 22 to 25C, or to 26C in the east where sunshine is most frequent.
