Sat May 23: Sunday High pressure on Sunday bringing plenty of hot sunshine to much of England and Wales. Some low cloud affecting coasts of England and Wales, especially in the morning but this will be burning away. A front in Scotland gives thicker cloud across central and northern areas with outbreaks of rain over the northwest and through the western Isles. Further cloud in the far west and south of Ireland but most of Ireland will have a fine day. Highs widely 23 to 28C England and Wales, 22C in Ireland, 21C in eastern Scotland and 12C in the cloudier west of Scotland.
