Cooler for all Low pressure to the north of Scotland early this week will push a cold front south across Britain and Ireland to bring a spell of rain to most places. Showery unsettled conditions follow from midweek onward, with some heavy downpours developing. Higher pressure then looks like building back in over next weekend.
